3 sleeps to go...
Yes, I hand in my first draft on thursday and it is practically finished. Yay me! It is already to go, in one big document, I just have to spend the next couple of days proof reading, etc. ready to hand in. I'm so excited!
I had a good weekend. Friday night was a quiet one but now that I'm 25 and old quiet is good.
Kat and I started our xmas shopping on Saturday and actually it wasn't too bad. I annoyed Kat by not hating xmas shopping as much as she did. My lo-lights were that intense feeling of claustrophobia you get shopping at this time of year & screaming brats in Toyworld but my hilights included not hearing 'Snoopy's xmas' once. I hate that song!
Oh and we saw the NZ Idol pahi (bus) passing through town. Steve went to my church and I ran into his sister, Kirsten, who is also a friend of mine.
My friend, Abby graduated on Saturday. We were around for the parade but I didn't see her. It's so exciting! Everyone looks so good in their gowns and hoods. I can't wait to graduate again. I was so nervous the last time but this time I know what it's all about and there is nothing to worry about.
So, Abby had drinks on Saturday night. It was great to catch up with some of my Te Tumu mates. I got dragged into a drinking game after pouring myself a glass of vodka, coke and raspberry (which tasted like cough medicine), I soon switched to OJ and just forgot to mention that there wasn't any alcohol in it.
My mum and sister was up yesterday so we had afternoon tea at Libby's new house. I'm so looking forward to getting home for Xmas so I can be with the whole whanau.
It was my last night playing bass for the year, it went well. I'm not rostered on for January but I might offer to play sometime.
