Hope deferred makes the heart sick
I'm sorry Jesus if I totally messed up the title.
It's been a while since my last post. Not much has been going on really. I went to see 'Pirates of the Caribbean 2' on the weekend. I'd heard mixed reactions to it but I really liked it, I think I almost enjoyed it more than the first one or at least the same as the first one.
Liz got back on Sunday night, she bought me some twinkies, I've always wanted to try one, their not bad.
Well, in relation to my title, this week has taken a really stinky turn for the worst. I have been looking forward to this weekend for ages, I have tickets to Carly Binding & Donald Reid at Arc on Friday night (a concert I've waited 2 years for, the last time Carly toured, the South Island leg was cancelled) and Madison's 2nd birthday party on Saturday morning but I found out on Monday that all the wananga dates have been moved so I have to work this weekend. It sux! I will still go to Carly (I hope) and try and make an appearance for Madison on Saturday but you know it's really hard to relax and enjoy something when you are watching the clock the whole time and it just means a lot of running around and trying to fit a 40 hour week into 36 hours. So not very happy this week.
