Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Belated seasons greetings to everyone! I hope it was a wonderful time for all. Mine was fairly quiet but it's always great to get home and spend some time with family.

Here are some photos from my graduation (16 December). Thank you to my friend & fabulous photographer, Rachel Callander

This is my Mum, me and my Aunty outside some university somewhere.

I think this is my favourite photo on the historic bridge.

Ooooh so fancy, Rach, you're amazing. Out of interest I am only the 10th person in the world to hold my degree.

My hood was so pretty, I wanted to keep it.

Me & my mum!

The obligatory clock tower shot.

Hi Sarah - here's the "other" Sarah (with an "h" of course, accept no substitutes!) - loved the photos on your blog - makes me think of the boxes and boxes of vintage clothing/purses/kitchenware/cosmetic compacts/magazines/fabric I have downstairs in the basement - you look great in vintage-style clothes!

Congrats on your graduation - I have always, always wanted to go to New Zealand, wanted to go after I graduated from university; my mom told me not to go because "it's just like England only more boring." Don't you love our prejudices - they are so left base so often! To me, NZ sounds like Oregon on steroids or maybe crack -- just hyper beautiful, hyper green, hyper clean...

Anyway, would like to know more about your degree - I've been a journalist/writer/editor for years but my second love would be to study indigenous textiles -- I have traveled and collected but would like to understand more...
