An update

So, Korea is on hold for the moment. I still plan to go but panic was getting the best of me.

For the moment I am temping and loving it. On Thursday afternoon I did four hours of data entry at an engineering firm. My Dad used to have an engineering company in Invercargill, I walked into the place on Thursday and it smelt the same, it reminded me of my Dad.

The recruitment place has been awesome. For the next three weeks I am answering phones, working the switchboard and doing data entry at Harvey Norman. I started on Friday, I had supposed to be going to another assignment (I love that word it makes me sound like a secret agent) but Harvey Norman needed someone to start on Friday so the agency found a replacement for the other job and they even picked me up so I wouldn't be late.

So that is me for the next three weeks.

Adecco offer a programme in Brisbane for three months working in a call-centre so I am looking into that as an intermediate step to Korea, kind of a practice run.

In the meantime I want to get all the visa documents in order for Korea so that when I apply I will be able to get them in the post right away and there won't be as much pressure.
